In Colorado, we attended a “Family Gathering” conference for people working overseas with our organization. There was a terrific kids program in the morning and afternoons that the kids loved and we spent one day at a ranch playing games and eating a delicious cowboy-style dinner outside at picnic tables. We stayed at “Glen Eyrie”, a beautiful conference center with a castle and lots of cool wild animals roaming around. We got a close up view of bighorn sheep, deer, wild turkeys, and even a rattlesnake! 🙂 It was fun to be around like-minded families who are living overseas like we are. And, it was great to connect with several families from our organization in Japan. One evening we drove to Denver to visit our friends the Hotstetters. We had so much fun eating their delicious homemade pizza and homemade ice cream. And the boys were quite excited that their son Max is a fellow Lego lover. 🙂 Our kids had a blast the whole time we were in Colorado and they were sad to say goodbye to all of their friends. Here are some photos from our time in Colorado.
